Practical and Fashionable Attire For Traveling Business Men
The common sense saying is to pack light for travel, especially if you are going on one of those tours where you have to constantly lug your bags around. That is why they call it “lug” gage. We recommend instead to pack right. We a little planning and careful consideration of what the climate might be like in the places you will visit on your trip you can both look good and enjoy your trip without feeling like you brought too much along. The things you will need differ depending on whether it is a business trip or a vacation.
It also depends on whether you will stay in one place or be constantly on the move. Let’s talk about the four different trip possibilities each one lasting for a week. For all the trips take seven pairs of socks and seven sets of underwear so you can change them daily to always feel fresh. Here are the ways to pack for the four different types of trips.
First is the business trip where you will stay in one place. For this type of trip you will pack very few casual clothes. A pair of jeans, a pair of sneakers and two or three t-shirts plus a swim suit or gym wear covers the casual side. For business attire pack a dark suit (gray or black) and a brown suit, with a pair of black dress shoes and a pair of dark brown dress shoes, plus one brown belt and one black belt. For the socks use the ratio of 5 pairs dress, 2 pairs casual and for the dress socks make 3 pairs black and two brown.
Pack 3 white shirts and seven different ties. You will want to alternate between the black and brown suit daily and wear a different tie every day as well when you have business meetings. Pack your toiletries and don’t forget black and brown shoe polish. Although most hotels have them, it is more convenient to take along a travel iron. And don’t forget to have a converter if you are going somewhere that has a different electrical system.
If bad weather is a possibility pack a warm sweater, a collapsible umbrella and winter coat. Second is the business trip where you move around. If you are not going to see the same people more than once you can get rid of one of the suits, one pair of dress shoes, and the belt. Just take one favorite suit, shoes, and belt instead. That will lighten the load considerably. You can also chuck 4 of the 7 ties.
Third is a vacation where you move around. You need to make sure you have casual clothes that fit the weather for all the places you are going, especially if there is a possibility of variation. Also it is good to have a set of clothes that are more dressy for those occasional needs even when you are on vacation.
Forth is the vacation where you stay in one place. That is the easiest of all, just take three or four changes (who wants to worry about laundry?) of your favorite casual clothes that are good for the weather you may experience. Now you are packed rightly. Enjoy your trip. Bon Voyage!
