1. Sell the stuff you do not need or want. Have you ever heard the saying “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”? Well, many individuals are shocked by the things that they can get rid of that other people want but who are we to judge right. Now is a good time to go through all of your closets, and your basement, and your attic and get rid of all those things that are just taking up space. You’re probably planning on doing some spring cleaning anyway so why not gather all of that stuff up and have a yard sale or put it on EBay? You can make a considerable amount of extra cash without even spending any money. Now that is what I call profit.

2. Do some freelance work. Many individuals are realizing how great freelance work is and it’s easy to find this type of work online. There are a number of sites that list freelance jobs that are absolutely free to use. Simply post your profile, take some tests, bid on jobs, and wait to hear from companies looking to hire individuals with your skills. The only thing that this type of work will cost you is time but it can be well worth your while in the long run. Who knows, maybe you can even eventually quit your other job.

3. Pick up a side job. You can also place an add in the paper requesting certain types of side work such as handy man type jobs, lawn care, or even pet sitting in your own home. Whatever you feel comfortable dong can be put to use to put money in your pocket without having to fork over any cash.
