A tumble dryer is a device which is used for eliminating the wetness or moisture from the clothes after they have undergone washing in washing machine. Most of the dryers are prepared with the rotating drums through which hot air is circulated effectively. This hot air minimizes the wetness and moisture from the clothes by evaporation. The tumbling effect is generated in the drum because the drum rotates at low speed. It is different to those with spin dry mechanism. The drum present in the tumble dryers is driven by the belt which makes use of the induction motor to run the belt. There are two types of tumble dryers available in the market. Out of these two one is the condenser dryer and the second one is the vented dryer. The basic difference between these two types of dryers is that one can be used for indoors as it does not require any ventilation and the other dryer needs a pipe to vent the hot damp air. The condenser tumble dryer has more advantages over vented dryer as it does not vent out the hot air so it can be placed anywhere whereas the vented dryers are required to be placed in such locations from where the hot air can be vented out. If one chooses the vented dryer then the way it works out is different as they produce hot damp air which gets exhaled through the venting pipe which is connected to the back of the dryer and this hot air can be blown out through window or some other venting surface present in the house.

The condenser dryer works little different, in this case the hot air is made to remain within the dryer because of this reason a condensing chamber is used. A metal condenser is allowed to set inside this condenser. Once the hot steam strikes this metal condenser then this steam gets converted to water which is collected in the plastic tank. This type of dryer allows one to empty the plastic tank and this can be done at the same time as one cleans the line filter. The other option is that one can plumb the condenser dryer into the drain which eliminates the need of emptying the tanks.

Tumble dryers have larger drum than those of washing machines that come with the dryers. The larger is the drum larger the load capacity and better the efficiency of the warm or hot air passing through the drum which results in faster drying. As in these dryers there is enough room in the drum for the clothes to move in so there is lesser number of creases on the clothes. It requires very little space for installation and best for smaller families. Another advantage of this machine is that it works very fast and effectively and also saves lot of energy.
