Beauty Tips For Your Next Camping Trip

Camping is an extremely fun activity for everyone involved, however there are a few drawback such as a lack of showering facilities and possibly having to go without a blow dryer for a few days. Here are a few guidelines to help you look like a supermodel even as you’re roughing it up in the outdoors.

It’s still possible to keep your hair looking good and smelling fresh even without a shower. Purchase a container of dry shampoo to carry with you on your trip. You use dry shampoo by pouring a bit on your hair and working it through your strands with your finger or a brush. It works by absorbing grease resulting in a ton of body and volume for your hair.

Don’t listen to the folks who insist you can’t wear makeup when camping. Who are they to judge?! As long as you keep it fairly natural and don’t go overboard, wearing makeup is fine. It’s a good idea to bring along some chap stick, lip gloss, a tinted moisturizer or light foundation, blush, waterproof mascara, eye liner and the all important lash curler. Using an lash curler can make a huge difference in how you look and open up your eyes. If you’re going to be taking a lot of pics, you definitely wan to bring some powder along to blot shine. Powders which contain silica such as MakeupForever HD (high definition)powder were made for photography and will give you that flawless finish in pictures. It’s a good idea to bring along makeup remover cloths in order to remove your makeup at night; this is an excellent way of getting the makeup off if you have limited access to running water. Don’t forget to bring a bottle of unscented body lotion. You don’t want to use any products with strong smells since scents might attract animals and pesky insects.

When you’re going to be outdoors for long periods of time you absolutely need to wear sunscreen at all times! Make sure to apply it to any area that is exposed to direct sunlight and don’t forget your hands. The sun’s rays cause permanent skin damage, premature wrinkles and hyper pigmentation. Make sure to use a sunscreen that has a SPF factor of at least 30 and make sure that it protects against UVA rays as well as UVB rays. Keep your sunscreen in a cool place so that it doesn’t get damaged by the sun. If you have an anti oxidant serum you might also want to apply that underneath the sunscreen for even additional protection.

Of course you’ll want to dress comfy and wear something practical but that doesn’t mean you can’t look cute at the same time. It’s easy to do by wearing cute lounge pants and track suits in bright colors that are form fitting and wearing cute tank tops underneath. It’s a smart idea to dress in layers and wear a tank top or fitted t-shirt inside in case you get hot. Also don’t forget to bring warm sweaters and overcoats along.
