Keep Your Bathroom Squeaky Clean

Isn’t it nice to have a bathroom that’s inviting and attractive? This can be achieved easily if you have a room that’s clean and spotless. However, the big question is, how can you do this? Here are the possible ways:

The bath area should be given attention to when you are on the task of cleaning the house. Make it a habit to clean that part of the house at least once a week. This will include the walls, the floors, especially if these are made from tiles, as well as the bathroom fixtures that are present there. Grime and molds are the last thing anyone wants to have in their bathroom.

Starting with your floors and walls, choose from among the many bathroom cleaners out there. Test before you settle to one product that you will use for the rest of your life. Make sure that these products result to cleaned surfaces and not provide you with abraded or damaged ones.

Next, with the countertops in your bath area, you need to clean them with the most effective cleaner you can find. You are lucky if you have them built from easy to maintain materials like ceramic tiles, laminate or marble. These are the materials where dirt or grime are easy to remove. They do not stick too much. Sometimes there is no need for one to use bathroom cleaners just to get them.

But if your countertops do not belong in these categories, you may need to search the market for the most effective product. Research well.

Specifically for marbles, if you are to use cleaning products, avoid those that can scratch its surface. This will result in an unappealing appearance. For plastic laminates, too make them shine and look clean, use wax.

Then, you also need to maintain your mirrors. You can have DIY preparations that have been popularly used even in the past to clean mirrors. For this technique, you can have a mixture of detergent, isopropyl alcohol, and water. Sometimes, there are those who even add vinegar to this mixture. Use a clean cloth to rub the mixture to the mirrors that you plan to clean.

If you have a bathtub, make it a regular practice to clean it every day or every time you take a bath. You don’t really need to scrub it daily, simply drain all the dirt that are probably present in it. Then, scrubbing can be done at a weekly basis to make sure that no unwanted materials are deposited in it.

Shower curtains should be included as well. You need to keep them dry as much as possible. So after a bath, make sure the curtains are well spread to allow them to air dry. Doing this can lengthen the lifespan of your curtains. Also, when you see that your curtains have changed in color, take this as a hint to change it to a new one. The color change can be attributed to dirt or even mildew that has deposited in it throughout the time it is in the shower.
