Vickery Place is known as one of Dallas’ oldest neighborhoods, noted as one of the original Dallas suburbs. The area is serviced by excellent schools, part of the Dallas ISD, with a very family-oriented character about the neighborhood. Home costs can range between $110,000 and $280,000, with increased value since the neighborhood being designated as the Vickery Place Conservation District during 2006. This was in an attempt to stop further destruction of the historic value within the neighborhood.

Today, the neighborhood still resembles its former self, featuring historic properties throughout. Residents are able to take advantage of close and convenient shopping and restaurants, as well as all that is loved about Downtown Dallas. The East Dallas neighborhood has grown quite a bit over the years, and even has a very close and very large college for residents to enter, as well as a close proximity to the Arts and Entertainment district that is so well-known within the city. There is even an animal hospital that is highly renowned within the area, with great facilities for professionals as well.
