– Many doctors will issue the asthmatic an acute care regimen that will help you keep an attack under control once it starts. If your doctor has not done this for you yet, ask him or her about it the next time you are in their office.

Keeping a journal of your daily activities will help you to pinpoint where and what causes a reaction in you. These will soon turn into a list of places and things to avoid.
