Some of the best scuba diving locations in the Mediterranean are located in the surrounding areas of Tossa de Mar. They contain what is called a unique underwater natural park.

There are three beaches located in Tossa de Mar for tourists to enjoy swimming and relaxation. You can find one of them just behind the walls of Old Town, one is in front of the downtown area and there is another one located on the opposite side of the bay.

The average age of those who come to Tossa de Mar for their holiday in Spain is a bit older than some of the other regions of Costa Brava. However, there is still a lively night-life for those who like to go out.

If you like the outdoors, you may enjoy mountain biking and hiking in some of the more scenic places in this area.

If you are looking to experience the cuisine of the locals, you wouldn’t be able to get it in town. Tossa de Mar tends to cater to the tourists when it comes to culinary options.
