Amazon’s Kindle 3 is thinner and lighter compared to Nook, and it has better screen contrast than the Nook. It supports PDF files and its rate to turn a page is much faster. It is more pocket-friendly compared to Nook. Amazon has a wide range of eBooks to choose from and much cheaper than those of Barnes n Nobles. Kindle 3 is made without touch screen capability, but its size, speed and over-all performance tops several ereaders in the market. Its battery can lasts for months when Wi-Fi is turned off. It can save as many as 3,500 books with its 4GB memory.
Between the Nook and the Kindle, buy Nook if it is for your kids, teens, and for reading magazines. The Android OS made us look forward to future Nook enhancements. The Kindle is for serious readers, and its user-friendly tools count so much that it is very comfortable to use. Each is packed up with features that separate both from further competition. Between Nook and Kindle, it is highly suggested to purchase Kindle 3.
