Occasionally a noted cigar manufacturer will release a new cigar with little or no fanfare, counting on word of mouth and smoker to smoker interchange to market the new product. The Don Pepin La Reloba has had such a launch. There is nothing more influential than one cigar aficionado sitting up in his chair at a favorite cigar lounge saying “Have you tried the new La Reloba from Pepin Garcia – it’s fantastic.” No matter where cigar smokers gather; the 19th hole of the local course, or the one bar in town that has the ventilation system to allow people to smoke inside; comparisons will always be made and the stick that smokes the best always wins. The staunchest brand loyalty is generated like that – one smoker at a time and lasts a lifetime. Most serious cigar smokers humidors will have a stick made by Don Pepin in their assortment of smokes.
Released in May of 2010 by My Father Cigars (a subsidiary of Don Pepin’s started and run by his son Jaime), the Don Pepin La Reloba cigar is available in four sizes and two different wrappers. This cigar was produced in the Garcia factory in Estel
