Do You Want to Conceive a Healthy Child?

There are many people who are trying to conceive these days, but then again, there are a number of different problems associated with the actual conception. For one thing, a mother might deal with swollen ankles, and she will of course have morning sickness. This of course was nothing compared to the arrival of the baby, and we are not talking about childbirth itself. The child might be born with a variety of illness, and it will be susceptible to even more during the course of it\’s life.

Is this new? Absolutely not. There are many story in today\’s world that cover the birth of an ill child. These illnesses could lead to learning disabilities and a variety of other disadvantages for the child, even leading into autism in the more sever cases.

While many of use cannot remember it, there was a time when this was not a serious problem. Children used to be happy, healthy, and full of energy! They were not constantly tired, they did not require frequent trips to the doctor\’s office, and they did not complain! What\’s changed? Why do today\’s children differ so greatly from the children of many years ago? Believe it or not, it all starts with you.

If you wish to conceive a healthy child, then you need to consider the source. Are both the sperm and the egg in decent condition? This is something that a doctor can assess of course, but there are precautions you can take right now to make sure your child is not only happy, but healthy in the long run.

* Nutrition is key! Consult a dietician or learn a bit more about the food pyramid!
* Steer clear of toxins; they will be your downfall.
* Make sure you exercise, your body loves it.
* Cut down on stress as much as possible
* Take a break and get some sleep

Nutrition is the first thing that we need to discuss. Junk food might be appealing, and let\’s face it, it\’s easier to prepare, but do you really want to be eating junk food while you are trying to bear a healthy child? The answer is probably not, so let\’s cover a few of the foods you will want to work into your diet.

* Shellfish
* Organic meat
* Organic eggs (can be bought at any grocery store)
* Raw dairy products
* meat/vegetables

Toxins are an ever present problem in our society, though the problem did not always exist. Sure toxins were around, and they were dangerous, but they are more of a threat now than ever before! There are so many chemicals in our everyday lives, and it is becoming harder and harder to get rid of the toxins!

Our bodies crave exercise. They were designed to move about, and if we just give it ten minutes of exercise per day we will be absolutely golden. Just remember that too much exercise is a bad thing!

Stress can cause severe complications in your pregnancy. Believe it or not, stress can actually interfere with your ability to conceive, but the problems don\’t end there. You could lose your ability to digest food among other things, so making sure you rid yourself of stress is absolutely vital!

Among other things, your body is going to need sleep! Getting the right amount of sleep is vital, and experts agree that eight to ten hours per night is the perfect amount. That being said, follow these tips and live a better life overall!
