If you continue with this workout on a daily basis, you can look leaner and slimmer with a nice and toned lower abdomen.
The YouTube 8 Minute Abs Workout video has gotten millions of views, and it has proven its effectiveness in toning up your abdominal muscles. This workout is fairly easy, and it consists of 9 exercises. Each exercise goes on for roughly 45 seconds. Both beginners and seasoned fitness experts can benefit from these exercises, however you don’t need to do the exercises for the full 45 seconds if you feel as though it is too much for your body.
These are the 9 exercises from the workout:
1. The Crunch
Lie on your back and raise your knees in order to do this exercise. Place your hands behind your head, and move both your head and shoulders forward in a curling motion. Each time you curl up, you should flex your abs.
2. The Oblique Crunch
Keep your back on the ground and your knees up. Put your right hand in the back of your head. Now touch your right elbow to your left knee. Now put your left hand behind your head and repeat the process.
3. Toe Touches
In order to do this exercise, you should lie on your back and put both of your legs up into the air. You should bend your legs and point your toes out at a 45 degree angle. Next, move up your shoulders and attempt to touch your ankles on the sides with your hands.
4. The Crunch in Reverse
Lie on the floor and place your arms behind your butt. Bring your thighs up into the air, and pull your knees to your chest.
5. Side Crunches
When you are doing this exercise, you have to bend your legs and incline to the left. Then your right hand goes behind your head and you lift you right shoulder. At this point you will be curling the right side of your abdomen. Then you do the same thing again, only with your left hand behind your head.
6. Push Throughs
Lie on your back, bend your knees, and place them apart a bit. Straighten your arms and put your palms together. Push them through your thighs.
7. Leg Pushes
Your hands go behind your butt, and you lift your legs into the air so that they are perpendicular to your body. Now bend your knees and push up your feet. With every push, lift up your butt.
8. Alternating Curls
Lie on the floor and put your hands behind your head. Keep your body on the ground and touch your right elbow to your left knee. Then switch and repeat.
9. Curl
Raise your knees and curl your abs by lifting your shoulders.
No matter what level of fitness you are at, you can benefit from these exercises from the 8 Minute Abs Workout.
