If you were asked to choose between CityVille and FarmVille, which game would you pick? As soon as CityVille appeared on the scene, this was the burning question on everyone\’s minds.

Out with the Old – In with the New
In the gaming world, it is typical for the new games to outperform the ones that were released before them when it comes to graphics.

CityVille was released in December of 2010 while FarmVille was released in June of 2009. If you think of these types of games in terms of wine, you would think that since FarmVille was the older game, it would be the better one.

This is certainly not true as CityVille boasts a 3D graphics engine and has better textures compared to Farmville. It also has a far better interface. Graphics, however, are just one of our many concerns when we start playing.

But, actually I can’t say which one is better as both games will give you more than you’ve expected. Once you start playing, you simply won’t give up until you get bored, disappointed got your task done..

Did you know that there are over 500 million active users on Facebook. And did you know that Zynga has nearly 250 million active players. That is almost one half of Facebook population. CityVille has around 88 million active players and this number will only grow, after they move their game to other platforms like iPad, cellphones, etc…
Addictive Gameplay

Who does not want to play an engaging game that is very addicting. While both games can be a very hard habit to kick especially with all the fantastic decorations you can do to your farm or your city, there is a certain strategy involved. CityVille, in fact, will take a really long time to expand especially if you want to reach its full capacity. You may even be building forever, and meet lifetime friends while you are at it.

Those friends will help you keep your city alive. All you have to do is accept their help, when they are tending your City. You won’t have to beg anyone to come and visit your City. They will do it simply, because they earn Reputation points and either Coins or Goods for their City.
More you visit their cities, than more likely they will come and visit yours. It’s a win win for all.

You would think that this is an individuals game but really it is not. In order to improve your game you need to have a decent strategy to cope with different obstacles that you came by daily.
Strategy is Required
