Get rid of all the dead algae as well and make sure that you leave none behind. Repeat the vacuuming process as long as there are still dirt and debris on your swimming pool.

You can also use a skimmer net in case you are having a hard time on removing floating debris and fallen leaves from your pool. The larger your skimmer net is the faster you can finish your job. Be very thorough when removing leaves and other debris to avoid any repeat job as these will eventually stain your pool.

You can also brush the sides and floor of your pool to get rid of the dead algae and to remove the stains due to overdue leaves and other debris. Maintain your regular brushing to keep the health of your pool on its best. Scrubbing your pool will also discourage any algae infestation as they will be removed as soon as they begin to infiltrate your pool.

Run your filtering system to make sure that you get all of the sediments from your pool. Keep it running until you get your desired result.
