Rat proof storage containers

Be sure to store your foods in rat proof storage containers. Test if they are tight sealed and are a bit heavy so that they will not fall over easily.

Steel Mesh, Steel wool and Caulking compound

Mice and rats can fit into holes that are small as a dime. They can bite of walls in a snap. Look for holes on all your walls, cabinets and surfaces. Seal them off with steel mesh or steel wool. If you are steel wool, apply caulking compound to thoroughly seal it in. Those rodents won\’t even dare to bite off these things.

Rat snap traps

Leave off snap traps with treats in them like a slice of potato, apple, cheese and a spoonful of peanut butter or chocolate spread. Some people have the notion that snap traps do not work anymore. but they really do. Make use of them and when you do, use them in multitude.

Tip # 1: Rats hate light. Leave your traps particularly at night and leave no lights on.
