Everything started on a stormy night. Naa! To tell you the truth I don’t really remember how everything started. I wasn’t even wondering how to make money on the internet. I can comfortably say that the starting point was a “phase” more than a “moment”. I was hospitalized after a car crash, and after I was discharged from the hospital I looked back to my life and decided that if I died in that accident I would have died an unhappy person. So I left my post as the creative director of a notable advertising agency to the wolf cubs and shark puppies who were crying out loud because of their disappointment over my miraculous survival. 2 years passed through and they are still trying to eat each other. I was overeducated, over-experienced and unemployed; the sun was shining and I was really happy for the first time in a very long time.

I had two cats. I took in three more and with my wife and five cats started to live the happy life of early retired. I was reading books, watching movies and TV series, trying to clicker train my cats. (Search the internet for clicker training; you may come across some really cool stuff.) Did you know there are 703 episodes of original Star Trek and its spinoffs like The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine or Voyager? I watched all of them in sequence and yes I’m proud of it. After about a year I started to feel the boredom of retirement. New cats grew up; Captain Kirk died, and I started to sleep more, eat more and go out less. Now this was not the life I imagined when I left my job and my indented calves behind me. I needed a new excitement in my life. I had a choice. I would do extreme sports or use the Internet to do something, anything. Even though extreme sports looked very attractive at the time I couldn’t persuade my wife that a chopper was not as dangerous as a speed bike. I couldn’t even persuade her to buy me a scooter. After 20 years of marriage I’m still not sure if she loves me or hates me. Anyway, so I began my long internet searches about making money online.

There is no way you can make money on the internet. Even if you work hard, learn everything and spend loads of money you can earn a dime. Two months after my internet adventure, I honestly believed that. Just as I gave up hope, one of my internet enterprises sent $30 to my bank account. It was a lucky sale but it changed my mind completely and instantly. If I can make $30 why couldn’t I make 300, 3000 or 30,000,000? If you build it right, they really come. I jumped in with both feet, applied all the things I learned from ad agencies, closed some sites, opened new ones and in 5 months I made my first $100,000. Now I know how to make money on the internet. I need a new excitement. Maybe this month I can persuade my wife to buy that scooter.
