It is believed that the patient will benefit from it by acquiring a good mind and body coordination. Stretching the patient is also common on most oriental massage therapy where the patient is stretched on different positions for the purpose of having an increase in circulation, good flexibility and relaxes the muscle tissues of the body. Asian massage therapies are both relaxing and energizing for the body and mind.
