Feeding tubes are sunk into the ground, and these will be very long for sure, and the tubes baited with poison food. The creatures will come across the food and will lay down their scent trails so that others will follow on. Once the poison reaches the nest, the queen will eventually die and this will be the end of her. Once she is gone, the rest will die off too.

This is a very clever way to use their own behavior against them and it has several advantages. One is that even if the building is in town areas, the tubes can be drilled into the ground. If this is a historic building, then nothing is damaged putting them in. They can also be left in situ for times when they have to be re-baited in the future and operatives will check up on them at intervals. Results are kept on computer so they always know the history of the tubes. It is important, therefore, to get a professional company in when any kind of infestation is suspected.
