If it got too hot a man could strip down, be covered, and continue to work in his braies. This mens Undz made going to the bathroom quickly a very lengthy process.

The loincloth braies were replaced with the codpiece loincloth. The codpiece opened to the front with snaps, laces or buttons. This enabled urinating without the removal of the trousers. This came in handy when one had a bit too much to drink. The Victorian period is where technological advances create mass production.

In the 1930\’s the underwear business took a major turn around. Life styles were changing in a more modern direction. Boxers and briefs became the popular trend. Elastic waistbands replaced the buttons and snaps. The 70\’s and 80\’s until now added the flavor of color and sexuality to the briefs and panties fashion. Boxer shorts, bikinis, thongs, and g-strings are examples of of how far the world has come from the beginning until now.

Mens underwear before and now, have taken a transformation due to the advancements in time and culture. The original loincloth set the stage from the prehistoric period, through too present day. As the universe evolved, and technology advanced, under garment quality, looks, and sexuality have metamorphosed the people of our time.
