These creatures are probably the worst offenders when it comes to damaging the home. No matter what the house is made from, there has to be some wood in there somewhere. The pests are attracted to this and will then take it back to the queen effectively killing off the whole colony. The good thing about this method is that they tubes stay in situ and are unobtrusive. They can be checked now and then for activity so this really is an ideal way to stay protected for longer.

Other pests which can get into the home include rodents, which carry all kinds of diseases, ants and cockroaches etc. which feed on anything left in the home. If anyone sees a roach the reaction is to think that the house is dirty. However, the roaches like a clean place with plenty of food on hand as well as dirty places so this is a misconception.

It is obvious that many of these pests need professional treatment. Indeed, some of the chemicals used are quite toxic so it may be better to leave this to those who know what they are doing.
