Many people will argue about the best WoW addons depending on what type of addons you like using in World of Warcraft.

These are my favorite addons that I use on most toons and some that I only use on toons with certain roles.

Postal – This WoW addon makes using your mailbox very easy and fast by allowing you to open all mail with a single click. This works great for those that use the auction house for making gold.

Auctioneer – The best WoW addon for making tons of gold using the World of Warcraft auction house. You can set Auctioneer to scan for just about anything you want. The key with using this WoW addon is scanning every day when you first install it to make sure you get a good base of the economy on your server before trying to use it to buy and sell items.

Vuhdo – The is the very best addon for healers in WoW. It allows you to perform healing actions at the click of a mouse on your own customized Vuhdo raid frames.

Bartender – Awesome for customizing and moving around all of your action bars. You can create any type of look or feel for your action bars you want with Bartender.

X-perl – This is a raid frame addon that changes the basic old WoW interface frames to really nice looking frames that can even have animated portraits.

Move Anything – Great for moving or changing the size of literally anything in your World of Warcraft user interface.

Addon Manager This is one of my favorites because it allows you to turn on or off addons without having to log in and out of the game. You simply select an addon and reload your user interface.

Sexy Maps Not really essential but it does allow a bunch of different skins to customize your mini map.

Deadly Boss Mods Essential for anyone that wants to raid on any type of serious leveling. DBM offers all sorts of raid warnings and timers for all raid boss encounters.

Gatherer Awesome WoW addon for anyone wanting to work gathering professions like mining and herbalism. Keeps track of where you were able to loot materials as well as anyone in your guild that has Gatherer as well. Takes some time to build up a database but, if someone in your guild has been using it for awhile they can send you their information right inside the game.

Questing Mods – There are several of these but the best WoW addons for questing are a most for new players or those, like me, that love to create and power level new toons. Makes it very fast getting to the leveling cap where we all know the real fun starts in World of Warcraft.

A good questing mod is probably what I would call my favorite if I could only pick one WoW addon to use and that is simply because they allow me to make the most of my limited game playing time.
