There are many advantages to having laser hair removal. In fact, the use of the cream may have been part of the reason for the deaths of two college students. One, Shiri Berg, applied the cream before undergoing treatment. Her autopsy revealed that the cream had entered her bloodstream. Berg had seizures before going into cardiac arrest and the oxygen supply was cut off from her brain. Patients may also have an allergic reaction to the cream and the use of this substance is a serious factor which must be carefully considered. Although many patients undergo laser treatments without any permanent damage done, it is important to know the risks involved in the process. Many medical spas claim that the procedure is completely risk-free, but this is far from the truth. There is the small possibility that patients can develop second or third degree burns due to laser treatments, or worse.
