Chevy is the short term for Chevrolet brand of car owned by General Motors and is one of the best known brands of vehicles in the United States. The company manufactures and creates cars that range from compact automobile to medium-duty pickup trucks. Chevrolet cars began and were first manufactured in 1911. The company was established by William Durrant and Louis Chevrolet. Chevrolet first aimed to create cars that were med-sized and the price of the vehicles is on the middle-of-the-road range. Then again, beginning on the post war era, the stylist named Harley Earl began to produce some classy, beautiful and innovative vehicles.

General Motors initiated and started innovative marketing concepts of branding along with customer loyalty. The customer stated at an entry level of the “good old reliable Chevy (properly Chevrolet)”.
