Furniture For a Park
Many people love to visit and stay at the park in the afternoon or every weekend. Parents love to bring their kids and the kids love to play and have fun. However, only a few people take time to notice and appreciate the efforts of people who manage and maintain the parks. Have you noticed the new bleacher? Did you see the new bike racks? These furniture items do not only improve the park’s appearance. They also ensure that they will be useful for the park visitors.
Bleachers
Most parks have bleachers. They come in two main types namely elevated and non-elevated. The number of rows varies in great extent. A bleacher can have three rows whilst another can have up to 10 or even 20 rows. A bleacher may have 15 seats whilst another can have more than a hundred.
One of the most common materials used for a bleacher for a park is aluminium. Another is wood. In addition, the park bleachers are not just purchased. They are bought after checking that they pass regulations in terms of aisles, guardrails, etc.
Benches
Another usual form of seating furniture in parks is bench. You must have seen a lot of benches. They vary according to size, material, design and colour. Benches even have varying height, width and seating capacity. Some benches do not have backrest. Others do not have handrails. Some were fixed. Others are detachable. Some benches were made purely from wood whilst others were made from metal. Sometimes, there is a mixture of metal and wood in one park bench. In some parks, plastic benches are preferred.
Tables
Picnic tables are common in parks. The materials used for park picnic tables also vary but metals; woods and recycled plastics are the most common. Metal picnic tables are usually welded and wooden picnic tables are normally bolted. The size and shape also vary. Some picnic tables are designed for use of the whole family whilst there are some that are designed specifically for kids. Some picnic tables are round. Others are rectangular or square-shaped. The number of seats also differs. Some rectangular or square picnic tables have seats on all four sides whilst others have seats only on two sides.
Trash Receptacles
Trash or litter receptacles surely are a staple in every park. To avoid litter on grounds, benches and tables, trash receptacles can be placed in many points of the park. Whilst trash receptacles are a good container of trash, they could still look beautiful. In fact, most parks in the United Kingdom have made the effort to buy and install noticeable trash receptacles. Some are in stainless steel. Others are wooden or made from recycled plastic and painted with bright colours.
Planters
Plants are one of the most popular accessories used in parks. A park without plants may not be as attractive as one with lots of healthy plants. Thus, planters are also common among outdoor furniture suppliers. They can be made from metal, wood, concrete or plastic. These planters can also be used at home.
