Maasai Mara: The Cradle of Kenya Safaris

This family consists of the Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo and the Rhinoceros. All these animals are present in the Maasai Mara national reserve. The Mara is home to the largest population of these animals. This therefore provides visitors making Kenya safaris to view the ‘big five’ a guarantee of their satisfactorily viewing them.

There are also a variety of bird species for bird lovers in this vast reserve.
