Prada is an Italian company, which was founded in 1913 under the name Prada Brothers, by Mario Prada and his brother Martino Prada. Miuccia Prada persuaded Patrizio Bertilli to join the Prada Company. Patrizio Bertilli proved to be an asset to the company and is largely responsible for the success of this Italian label since 1977. It was Patrizio who advised Miuccia to stop importing English bags and other goods and start manufacturing their own with different luxurious styles.
