We just wanted to take a minute of your time and tell you how it\’s gone for us. I was working for a large global semiconductor company. The company suddenly announced to more than 800 employees that they would be shutting down the facility and everyone would be losing their jobs. Although I worked in Human Resources as a Support Specialist I too would be losing my job. It became my job function to ensure that those 800 employees and friends of mine would be laid off. It was heart breaking to watch my friends walk out the door for the last time.

My husband is already an entrepreneur and has owned a business in the construction industry. However, his business has decreased significantly since the housing crash and people aren\’t calling to get repairs done to their homes anymore. Besides that his physical health was taking a beating and the hard heavy work required in construction was causing more injury to his body with the jobs he did acquire. It was clear we had to find a new way to earn a decent income.

Even before losing our jobs we knew we wanted to find a way to make residual passive income that would set us up for retirement and give us the time and financial freedom we needed to stop working so hard. We could see the value the MLM company structures offered and we knew we could be business owners without the overhead required in a traditional business. So we gave it a try.

We did everything we were told to do by our up line. Built a list of friends and family, called each of them to invite them to a business/product party, bought all the tools to hand out, CDs, DVDs, flip charts, free samples of product, business cards, placed a product order every month, invited people to be three-way called into long distance conference calls, attended hotel meetings and flew long distances to attend conventions. But the thing that was missing was having a good system to plug into so we could leverage the vastness of the internet and expand our list of friends and family.

Now, here we are both of us without a job and wondering what to do. But we both still have that strong drive to be entrepreneurs. We had lots of discussions about trying to build our MLM business again. We started by making a new list of family and friends. But since everyone we knew was already burnt out and not interested in purchasing our products, our list was very short. We decided to turn to the Internet.

We wanted to find the system we were missing to leverage the vastness of the internet. Somehow, almost miraculously we came across a web page that stated we could build an income without doing MLM. We couldn\’t stop reading. The information on the page was talking to us directly. It was like the person that wrote it knew exactly what we were looking for. Our entrepreneurial spirit drove us to check into it.

We weren\’t sure, but what were our options? Find jobs? Attempt to build our MLM? We just couldn\’t see our success doing the same old things again. We needed something new and fresh, a proven system we could just plug into and we finally found it. Our time has come to take control of our lives.
