This treatment is not used very frequently because with the large amount of toxins released into the soil, there is a much higher change of contaminating more than just the infestations, so other pieces of the environment will likely be affected.

Because of the damage to the structure of your home that these insects can cause, it is important that you have your home inspected for signs of an infestation. If the professional finds that you do not have an infestation, they can tell you the correct steps to take to keep you home safe from the bugs. However, if they find signs of these insects, the sooner you catch the infestation, the less damage that will have been done to your home and the less costly it will be for you to remedy.
