Trust is Something That Has to be Earned in Any Phone Sale

The other day I decided that it was time to get a new phone. I thought the most logical place to look would be to go to the local mall and see if there were any good phones that are on sale this month. Now I hadn’t updated my phone in many years so I was rather concerned about as to whether or not I would be able to adapt to a newer technology easily.

Mistake number 1, I went to the store with no idea of what I wanted to get, I was pushed around and ridiculed by the staff at this place. (I am not going to mention where this place was or the name.) Until I finally got out after saying no many times to them trying to convince me to get this one particular phone with a 24 month contract that there was no way I was able to afford.

The last time I when to get a new phone I was served with dignity and like a valued customer. After the way I was treated by the staff, phone dealer are now at the top of my list of people to avoid in life… above car dealers! It really was that bad.

A good friend who is familiar with the latest technology told me afterward that what they were trying to sell me was a total piece of junk. Now rather than give up completely on the notion that I was going to get a new phone, I decided I would do my research and get the best phone for the best price by really knowing what I want. I found that one of the best ways to go is prepaid if you want to save big money.

Many of the prepaid phones these days have unlimited plans and a great range of SmartPhones.

When I went back to some local dealer in the mall, I was able to ask the right questions, and really put them in their place, they did how ever try to sell me phones and plans that were a real rip off. The one thing these shops with their geeky sales people could do was give be a plan like an unlimited prepaid.

I guess after all the drama I have gone through, I wanted to get the message across that there are some really good phone deals out there, but they are not in your local mall phone shops. The service that I end up connecting with is a brand called Straight Talk and they have great phone plans that have no hidden fees or contracts.

So if you get a chance check out some reviews of this company, I am sure there are pros and cons but I am saving lots of money so I can’t really complain. I know there might be other services out there that offer a similar deal but this is by far my favorite by far after being locked down for way to many years in contract.
