Get out of your comfort zone
Just exercising is not enough. Your body will get used to the workout routine and the intensity levels and after a certain point of time, the results will stop coming in. Hence it is important to move out of your comfort zone and take up more challenging workouts so that you will put in 100% efforts thereby giving you better results. Simple things like climbing up the stairs faster or increasing the intensity and speed levels of your gymming equipments can do the trick. Eat to lose weight
One of the main misconceptions about weight loss is that you should starve yourself. Starving results in reduced metabolic rate and is harmful for the body. This way your digestive system will work more than if you would eat the same amount of food in one or two large portions. But you must keep in mind that the food you eat should be healthy and non fatty and also you must eat in small quantities so that your calorie intake is less.
Water is your best friend
Apart from all the other health benefits that water provides, it is very essential for weight loss. The body works to absorb and use the water that we intake and in turn burns calories. Hence is a good idea to increase your water consumption to at least eight glasses a day. If you do not like too much water, green tea is another good option to boost your metabolic rate.
Include exercises involving the whole body
The more the muscles you exercise, the more calories you will burn. Most cardio exercises like cycling, walking and running target primarily the lower body. Hence it is important to incorporate upper body exercises as well in your workouts.
