After all the things that you have been through and the first dates that had passed, you cannot help but asking what men want. You may think you have done everything you can to make an impression but it just would not work out right. At times, there is really nothing wrong with you. It could be men who are wrong. However, you need to be self aware too. There may be a few things that you could change to get past the first date. And this learning process involves finding out what men want.

Whether it is a millionaire you are eyeing or just and average Joe, the rules are the same. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out what men want. But perhaps it is about the other side that you need to learn about, what men do not want. Here is a list of things to avoid on your first date.

Men do not want to hear about exes. In fact, this is a sure way to put him off. It may work if you want to lose the guy but if you really like him, zip about your ex. You may want to let him know just how desirable you are but he is not blind. He should be able to see that for himself and he does not want to hear an enumeration of all the dudes you have been with. On the first date, what men want is to know about YOU which do not include any other guy.

You may think because you are dealing with a guy that talking about sex would be interesting. It probably is with his friends but not with a stranger on a first date. What men want is to find a sensible partner, one who can carry a conversation well and not a crass.

Women have the tendency to get excited and drop hints about the future. No man wants that particularly on a first meet. You would sound desperate and presumptuous which are not attractive traits at all. What men want is to take the time to get to know each other. No rush really. It may be good to set your time clock aside, save it for later.

You can talk about your family and friends just to give him a hint on how you stand with your family or how good a friend you are. But men do not want to hear about any suggestion of meeting them at this early point. No one wants to be pressured. What men want is to take one step at a time. So relax and enjoy your date.
