The numbers will stand for width, load and diameter of the wheel. The diameter is the size of the cars rim the tire will fit on. The often overlooked number is the load capacity. The manufacturer will set the load capacity and any new set of wheels should not be under that number. If unsure check with the vehicles owners manual. Choose seasonal tires if you want performance in winter and summer, winter tires are designed to work better in colder winter climates.
