Patients may have a hard time distinguishing if you are a nurse or office personnel since you seem to be wearing corporate attire with your jacket. Sweatshirts are big no-no too. 3. Do wear long sleeves with same shade as your scrubs – You can also wear long sleeves underneath your scrubs to keep you warm. To make you look more fashionable, it is great to choose a color that is the same shade as your scrubs.
4. Do not wear street clothes that will make you feel uncomfortable – As mentioned, you can wear long sleeves underneath but you should ensure that you are not being distracted by this. Avoid long sleeves that are too long that makes you pull it up over a hundred times in your shift. This does not only a fashion no-no but this can obviously affect your productivity so make sure that the lengths of the sleeves are just fine.
