Indeed, the classical maxim of looks can be deceiving and is still patronized in the modern times. There are just people who cannot simply accept the innovation of the younger generation. Reality bites more often than not. People from the third world countries have invested a lot in their education, only to find out that in their employed lives, they will only have a meager income. The situation gets worst if calamities will beset those people. In the end, everything they have worked hard for will just be taken away from them.

The catch about employment is that they are careers meant for this line of work. This is the fail-proof way to earn an income but the most common routine of all. Some careers however can lead people to be self-employed such as physicians, lawyers, and businessmen. They earn according to their talent and capacity. If they don’t work, they can’t have their pay. But compared to the employees, they have more time freedom.

Society defines the social strata based on career or employment. Most of the time, careers are stereotyped and can speak of your social status. It can be a bit unfair to the honor that belongs to the respective professions. Also, there are unique jobs available that can be considered not a job at all. With this kind of arrangement, people can combine their hobbies into their line of work and their personalities to their chosen career. The good news is that society is open-minded towards this rare job arrangement that can also yield more production and satisfaction.
