The doctor’s responsibilities are the prescription of appropriate exercises for stretching, strengthening, and rehabilitation purposes. He should also give the right medications which do not have contraindications with the current medical condition of the patient. In case surgery is required, he or she should discuss the matter seriously with the patient and explain the advantages and disadvantages of the method. Blood tests and x-rays are examinations that are supposedly done regularly to update the progress of the patient’s recovery.
