This new technique makes fat transfer a good option to surgical breast augmentation. Previous results were not as dramatic compared to the ones created now with pre-expansive treatment. It also removes the risk of rejection or allergic reactions since the fats used are the patient’s own.

But still the fat transferred will eventually melt away or liquefy and get absorbed by the body. When this happens you are most likely to observe your breasts to gradually decrease in size or the chance that these fats can turn into cysts or lumps. But usually they are benign.

Fat transfer also takes more time to heal because not only will the breast have to be taken cared for, but also the liposuctioned site as well.
