What is the best way to burn fat? That is a good question but it all really depends on the person and what area’s they are trying to shape up on their bodies. A lot of people think walking will help, but walking burns such a slow amount of calories that it’s not really worth doing unless you plan to walk for 3+ hours a day which no one has time for these days.

Cardio is one of the most important calorie burners. You need to find some form of cardio to keep your heart rate up. Some people love running, some prefer the elliptical and others prefer biking or another form of cardio burning activities. To maximize results, you should lift weights 3 to 4 days a week before doing cardio. It is best to lift before cardio because you not only loosen your muscles up but you push your muscles to the limits with lifting that when you start up cardio your heart rate should already be in a good place. If you do cardio before you lift, most of the time you will be too tired to lift and won’t get any good reps in. Lifting is good for women and men; it just depends on the type of lifting you need to do to tone certain parts of the body. In sports, a lot of coaches make the players do a warm up run before practice and a run after practice. In football, you run 3 a days. This means you are 3 practices in one day for a certain amount of time. This will put your metabolism in overdrive and will burn a ton of calories. Just make sure you are being smart about your body and taking care of it. Dehydration is very dangerous so always drink lots of water.

Pasta is filled with carbs, so it is good to eat it before a sports game because it gets your energy up. Just make sure you don’t eat too much of it or you may become ill. Burning fat can happen in many ways, but it will not happen if you aren’t willing to put the time into working out. Did you know that walking a decent pace on a treadmill for 30 minutes can burn roughly about 180 calories, 108 of those calories from fat? Walking is not usually the best method when burning fat, because it doesn’t burn the quickest. Running on a treadmill for 30 minutes can burn roughly 400 calories, 120 of those calories are from fat. As you can see not much has changed when it comes to burning fat. Weight training is the best way to burn fat because the higher the muscle to fat ratio is the extra energy needed thus allowing for more fat burning.

Most people when at the gym like to target certain area’s for fat burn such as thighs, stomach, chest, buttocks etc. So people only focus on certain lifts and exercise because they believe this will shape up. Sometimes this works, but you will burn more fat with an overall workout then just focusing on certain key areas. When I say an overall workout I mean work out a lot of different parts of the body so that you can burn more fat. So when it comes to burning fat, find what works best for you but make sure you lift and do cardio, not just one or the other.
