Look Both Ways Before Crossing

Baby I\’ve got something to tell you! Chances are statistically speaking that you are more concerned with everybody else\’s needs and desires and neglect your own. You\’ve got kids or are about to give birth, you are quick to answer the phone and take your girlfriend or family member\’s problems on as if they were your own, you\’ve got a husband or boyfriend and he comes first. In your list of priorities where do you fall in context of priority. If you take a look at your life and remain honest your dog even takes position on your list of importance before you do. Where does that leave you? Who puts you first? You may ask, \”what are you getting at?\” One key factor, prevention! Traveling this road leads to a state of exhaustion. Not just physically but mentally as well. Oh woman, you are not a machine though you can portray this lifestyle for a while. Even a machine must take a routine maintainance check periodically. Otherwise that machine runs it\’s course and ends up in the junk pile. Periodically run an evaluation on your life. See exactly where your care and time is allocated. You will be surprised to find the truth about what you do to yourself. How mean you are to your mind, and your body. You train yourself daily to think and behave in a manner of neglect. If you have children you almost naturally give yourself a double whammy. All parents go to activate-your-power.com/depression-prevention-3.html. I\’ve put aside a specific article for you guys. Back to the original thought, take out the time in your day to follow these steps:

1) make a list containing the hours of the day

2) write down your activities each hour

3) analyze your findings throughout the week

4) organize adjustments in your schedule to include you (for example: meditation, exercise etc.)

5) make an honest effort to follow those adjustments

Your diet is just as important. Your diet plan is your recipe for success. Fuel your body correctly and your body will respond correctly. Many of us out there have a misconception on what the definition of diet is. A lot of us think diet means to cut back or tailor toward losing weight. The term \”diet\” merely means what you intake as nourishment. You may choose to participate in a diet to gain weight. Depending on what your needs are dictates what your \”diet\” will be. Consistently taking in grease and junk food is called a \”dirty diet\”.

This topic is important and essential when referring to stress management. When we make a conscious decision to organize a plan of nourishment (or not) our bodies react to the food and creates a reaction in our thought process, mood, health, etc. Some of our problems such as the health problems or emotional problems we deal with can get dealt with initiating a proper diet.

For the most of us our diet should consist of 4-6 meals/day. Your body feeds every 2-3 hours. If there is nothing in our system our bodies will feed off of itself or store fat depending on the speed of our metabolism. Now when I say meals that doesn\’t mean 4-6 Thanksgiving dinners. (relax ladies) A simple bag of trail mix in between your breakfast, lunch, or dinner is a meal in itself. A low calorie snack is considered a meal as well.

Lets save all the extras and get into some examples shall we? Remember though, 4-6 times a day is an important component in the subject of health and simply feeling good from day to day. Go to activate-your-power/diet-plan.html.
