Maternity Swimwear For Fun in the Sun
The weather is warming up and the sun is starting shine more than a few months ago. If you are a pregnant woman, you are probably starting to feel the heat more than other people. A great way to cool off is to find a maternity swimsuit and jump in the pool or hit the beach.
One choice for maternity swimwear is the Maternal America Jenni Tankini. The swimsuit has tie bottoms to allow for your ever expanding belly. They are also a good choice if you need to buy up on the top size and then pull tighter on the bottoms. The top has an incredibly neat and fashionable pattern of orange and sky blue which is sure to make heads turn as you walk by. This style of tankini can also double as a strapless mini. Simply untie the halter neck support and let it drop down. Just be careful not to jump into the pool or get hit by a wave!
For a maternity bikini, there is the classic Prego Bow Tie Bikini. This bathing suit comes with wide strap halter that ties behind the neck. The back is clip in place which adds more comfort than a back tie might. It is embellished with a bow on the front to create a bit more excitement and a central focal point. It\’s not as revealing at the bust and does offer good support especially for a busty woman. The bottoms are a bikini type but, unlike a pre-pregnancy bikini, these have a wider and more stretchy elastic band. Maternity bikinis are made so that they grow as you grow and don\’t slide down your belly. Maternity bikinis are for the pregnant woman who is really comfortable showing off her belly. And, if you are normally a bit small up top, now is the time to show off your growing bustline!
A lot of pregnant women like to bare their shoulders and show a more of their chest without being too overt opt for the strapless mini. These are a really stylish choice and often come with large Hawaiian flowers printed on them. The large flowers offer contrast against their background and help to break up the curves. A good example of this is the Prego Maternity Hibiscus strapless mini. The large black hibiscus against the white backdrop makes a statement without being too loud. For those who are more conservative, you can try a strapless mini maternity swimsuit in basic black or brown. Many designers have these styles including Prego and Maternal America. One final option that is gaining in popularity is the V-Kini maternity bathing suit. This design has a thin halter tie that goes around the neck for extra support when needed. If you want to avoid the tan lines, simply untie the strap and tie in front like a bow. It adds some flare to the front of your maternity swimsuit. So why is it called the V-Kini? There is a \”V\” cut in the front between the bust to break up and otherwise straight line.
For someone who likes stripes, there are two good materinity swimwear styles available from Maternal America. The fun thing about these two is that one has vertical stripes and the other has horizontal! The vertical stripe swimsuit is made with fabric from the famous designer Missoni. It has the classic zig-zag style with a matching orange trim under the bust and up the halter straps. The bottoms are tie style to adjust to your changing size. They too are trimmed in orange against the Missoni pattern. It\’s a real appealing pattern and will looks like you spent some serious money on it though it really doesn\’t have that high of a cost. The vertical striped maternity swimwear if a festive print highlighted by its golds, teals, pinks, and magentos. The bottoms are cleverly done in the pink/magento color with functional tie accents in matching stripes. You\’ll feel like having a good time in this bathing suit whether at the beach or in the pool.
It really doesn\’t matter what suit you choose for your pregnancy. All that is important is to get one on, show of that maternity bod and have some fun in the sun!
