Lastly, an uncontested divorce often means that only one party has a lawyer. This make an unequal balance of power for one of the parties which may not always be acceptable and if you both get a lawyer involved then you could easily be going down the route of conflict, because the job of your lawyer is to protect your best interest and get the best results for you.
