What is Benzene – the Silent Killer You Eat

Before I tell you what is benzene and what it does, let me first share something else with you really quick.

See, if you\’re anything like me, whenever you buy food, you look at the ingredients that it has. You read about the nutritional value and notice that there are a ton of strange sounding ingredients in what you eat.

We\’re all used to that, right?

The problem is, though, that those ingredients are killing you softly, and I am not exaggerating. Benzene is not the only one, although we will focus on it in this article, so…

What Actually Is Benzene?

Benzene and its similar sounding siblings such as benzoic, benzyl, benzoyl and benzoate are all carcinogens that are used in a variety of food as additives. It\’s also commonly used in personal care items, detergents, drugs and pesticides.

Whenever you have highly processed foods, you\’ll be eating benzene or one of its siblings I\’ve mentioned. Also, when you take a nice relaxing bath with bubbles in it, you\’ll be absorbing it, so the next question is…

Is It Dangerous to You?

Not many people know that benzene and those similar sounding substances I listed above really are dangerous to your health. It destroys your DNA, causes harmful effects on the bone marrow and blocks the cells ability to take up oxygen from the blood, and I am sure you can imagine what this does to you, right?

Just imagine that your brain is not getting enough oxygen. You know what can happen from that? Well, I don\’t want to scare you, but you\’ll feel exhausted, depressed, stressed and irritated.

This can of course lead to other conditions such as chronic fatigue and paranoia, and if you\’re pregnant, it can cause deformations to your baby.

You didn\’t know that, did you? Well, now you know what is benzene and what it can do for you, but I am not done yet… just keep reading…

Where Can You Come across Benzene?

When you go to a nearby grocery store, you\’ll find a big dose of it in irradiated beef, heat-treated canned beef and eggs, soy bean milk, cheddar cheese, soda drinks and other food. You\’ll find the acid which is the main ingredient of benzene in canned fruits such as berries, plums and prunes or jarred baby food and juices.

So, What Are You to Do Now?

As we\’ve mentioned, benzene and its derivatives are really bad for you and if you don\’t pay attention to what you put in your mouth, and even on your skin, it\’ll ruin your health and your life completely.

To avoid these harmful substances, focus your diet around raw foods, vegetables and fruits that are not only very tasty, but they\’ll also help you clean your body out from the inside, provide you with the energy necessary to have a happy life and will also increase your self esteem.

Also, be sure to avoid personal care products that contain these dangerous substances, because when you put toxins like benzene on your skin, it goes directly into the blood stream.

So, now that you know not only what is benzene, but also, how to avoid the harmful influence it can have on you, all you have to do is take what we\’ve talked about and put it into practice. Go ahead and protect yourself from benzene and you won\’t regret it!
