There is a sick trend. Couples married and after some time they get divorce. Why do people divorce after over 20 years of marriage. Why must this happen?

Marriage is about life long partnership and relationship. Both sides need to understand that once they are married, they\’ll be entering into a totally different world of sharing and caring. They need to adjust and fit into each other\’s world which by the way should have changed once they got married. Key element to saving a relationship for married couples is effective communication.

A marriage needs trust, honesty, and someone who is willing to go the distance and do what it takes. Most people do not wish to do this anymore. Why is this so?

There are so many challenges and interferences for married couples nowadays. Society is becoming so open and individual right and individual freedom seem to loom around. When individual right and freedom is so strongly uphold, how can couple lead a healthy family life that care for each other, share with each other, look after each other.

Among the many causes of divorce and break ups are financial and cheating/falling out of love. Some of these factors can be avoided and prevented if they are recognized early. Good understanding among the couples are very crucial on this.

Marriage today is not like yesteryear. Some cultures have arranged marriages through their parents approval. One elderly says \”giving in\” was the reason his marriage lasted so long, and that as long as they had each other life would be fulfilled. In today\’s society marriage is\’nt from the heart, it\’s a convenience. For if the marriage fails no matter what the reasons are – money and belongings and kids – any of these will always be the basis for divorce. Meaning greed supersedes marriage.

Some couples got married young and for the wrong reasons. They were too young and were very haste in their decisions. After some time, things started to go wrong. There\’s no more understanding between the two of them. Matter become worse when they communicate less and less between them.

Why exactly marriage and divorce occurs nobody seems to know for sure. We hear people getting married and people getting divorce everyday. This is a sick trend indeed to see people getting divorce after marriage. Will this lead to an end to the family institution? No one knows for sure.

Marriages generally break when the minds of husband and wife are not compatible with each other. If their likes and dislikes do not agree, the end result is divorce or breaking up or separations. Friendships and relationships are successful if the temperaments are identical and both think in the same direction in the same situation.

Will marriage eventually break up? Yes and No. Yes, if you don\’t take it seriously throughout your life and if you don\’t nurture it, marriage will break up eventually. Saving a relationship to ensure longevity and happiness in marriage should be shared and cared jealously against all odds. Keep on communicating, keep on listening, keep on adjusting and understanding, sharing and caring.
