It would be great if every time we went looking for things to do today in Houston that we could take a limousine. Unfortunately, it can be a pretty expensive venture to do even just once in a while, let alone every day. One thing I can say for sure though is that when my friends and I have taken a limo for the night to hit the town, we have had some pretty wild experiences.

People see a limo pull up and they immediately think a couple of things. Number one, they assume that whoever is inside must have a lot of money. Number two, they must be important or some type of celebrity, especially if they are pulling up to a dance club or nightclub. It is for both of these reasons that we have tried using a limo when we go out.

Neither I nor my friends are incredibly wealthy or famous, but it’s nice to be thought of that way once in a while. Having the limo certainly does all that and more. All of a sudden, we must turn into the most handsome men in the room because a lot more ladies seem to pay attention to us after we step out of there.

The crazy stuff begins to happen usually when we are leaving the club. After we have had a few drinks and a few of the ladies decide to join us for the evening, they seem to get wild once we get into the limo. Of course, there is some booze in the bar in the car, and everyone wants to stand up and hang out the moon roof and yell and scream. The girls get all giddy and seem to let their inhibitions go, which has led to us getting pulled over more than once.

One time we were waiting in our limo for one last member of our group when the door swung open and there stood a famous singer who I won’t name who had a little bit too much to drink and got in our car instead of his. Instead of pointing him to the right car, we decided to take him along with us for the rest of the night. We were all clicking pictures to put up on our social media that night as we went to different clubs and even a fast food drive thru with our new friend.

One thing I have learned about all of our crazy limo experiences is if you are looking for things to do today in Houston and take a limo, make sure you tip your driver well. He is the one who has to put up with all of our nonsense for the night. He certainly earns every penny he gets paid and we always give him a ton of cash (sometimes because we are too drunk to know better) to thank him for giving us a great night out.
