There are probably more party places in Houston than many people realize. You may think you have been able to get to a lot of different places, but I am willing to bet that you have really only seen the standard, run-of-the-mill dance clubs in the city. There\’s nothing wrong with that; the majority of the clubs are great to go to, and if you have a good time there, then all the better. Sometimes though, when my friends and are feeling like we really need to go someplace different, we try and seek out some of the most exotic dance clubs that we can find to make it a more memorable evening.

Not that all of our evenings turn out memorable. Sometimes things do not go as well as planned and the evening as a whole can be an entire bust. Sometimes we just drink and part too much and the evening may have been memorable for those around us, but we just don\’t seem to remember any of it ourselves.

Anyway, finding some place that may seem dark, mysterious and exotic can be a lot of fun. You always hear about places like this from different people, or you hear about these underground late night parties that are happening in locations that are supposed to be secret, but you never seem to work up the nerve to go. I am here to tell you that it is worth taking the risk and going.

You may turn out to have the time of your life. We went to this one club my friend got a text about late one Friday night. The place didn\’t even have its name outside or anything and all we had was an address. When we opened the door, there was just a flight of stairs leading up.

We looked at each other and started to climb the stairs. When we got to the next door, we swung it open and could not believe our eyes. It wasn\’t a big place; it was just enough for about forty or fifty people, but it was packed. The music was thumping hard from the DJ on hand, the bar was lit from underneath and seemed to be glowing and everyone had a drink in their hand and a smile on their face.

What made this place so exotic? Well, between the atmosphere, the location and all the beautiful women there, you would think that would have been enough for us. The one that made it most striking to me was that we were led up to the bat by these two scantily clad women, handed a shot each, given a kiss on the cheek, and then led over to a table with two other women at it, all who seemed happy to see us.

Without going into too much detail, all I can say is that it is a night we will never forget. We tried to go back to this place, which we called one of the premier party places in Houston, but it was gone. Was it all a dream or had they packed up and moved somewhere else? I\’ll keep looking and let you know.
