This is a question that is really open to debate and comes up on almost every Houston nightlife social network site that I have come across. Lots of people always ask the generic question \”Where can I have the most fun in the city at night?\” I don\’t think there is really one set answer to this question. The fun can be determined by whatever you think is fun to do. For some people that might be sitting around and knitting all evening. For others it could be taking part in a human chess board. Still others might want to take a hot air balloon ride naked (okay, I don\’t know about this last one, and it might be illegal). Whatever it is, there is always plenty of fun entertainment around the city at night.

What are some of the fun things to do? Well it\’s hard to pick a place to start. There are so many bars, dance clubs and clubs in the city that you could go to a different place every night if you wanted to. This might not be a bad idea if you are looking to determine what the most fun is, although it can get quite expensive and perhaps do bodily damage to you.

For me, as much as I like just hanging out at the bar, there are two places where I pretty much always have a fun night. The first is at a dance club. The great thing about dance clubs, besides the dancing, is the people watching. There is so much action going on all over the place that you could sit there for hours and just see what other people are doing.

If you\’re not really into the whole voyeur thing (okay, when I say it sounds pretty creepy), my other favorite place to go is to one of the comedy clubs. Very often you get to see a pretty well-known comedian in the place and they are usually pretty good. It makes for a great show and lots of great laughs.

Another great thing about the comedy clubs is to watch some of the new guys who are just trying out comedy. These guys often get heckled the most. Sometimes it is painful to watch because they can\’t handle it and get flustered. Other times it\’s really entertaining because some people practically get into a fist fight with the audience over what is being set. It can be priceless entertainment.

Of course there are hundreds of other things to do all over town. You don\’t even have to go to any clubs to find entertainment. Shows, sports, readings, street performers – you name it, it all goes on at night in the city.

One of the best ways to actually gauge what others think is fun at night is to check out a Houston nightlife social network. It can help to give you a good idea of what other people really enjoy and what they hate. Most people on these things don\’t pull punches, so you are sure to get their true feelings. Then pick a place to go and start having a good time!
