I know a lot of clubs and bars like to have different theme nights all the time to help draw people in. The last one that my buddy and I went to seemed like it was going to be pretty strange but we thought we would give it a shot anyway. It was a space alien theme night and if you came dressed as an alien or some alien movie character, you could get in for free and they had drink specials. We had gotten this Houston nightclub information from another friend of ours who was going so we thought we would give it a try. I\’ll never do that again and here is why.

The evening started off harmless enough. We got into the club, the music was playing, and everyone was dressed as some type of alien or movie character. It promised to be fun. The waitresses were all wearing these short Jetsons-like skirts, which at least gave me something to look out besides the nerds who had gone too far to try and look as authentic as possible.

The club had even hired little people dress as little green men and run all over the club. I noticed some of the little green men getting a little frisky with the waitresses, but hey, that was none of my business. A couple of them tried to get me to go with them, pointing toy ray guns at me, but I just laughed and told them to go away. I just went about sipping my drink and having a good time.

My buddy nudged me and said he was going to the bathroom. I just nodded and went about nursing my beer, glad I didn\’t have to pay to get in and got my beer for a couple of dollars off. There didn\’t seem to be a lot of action going on in the club at all really.

My friend seemed to be gone for a very long time. Two beers later, he still hadn\’t come back. Finally, I went to check on him (okay, I had to go after three beers, but I was going to check on him). I looked around the men\’s room and didn\’t see him. I even called his name a few times. I got no answer from any of the stalls.

I left the bathroom and walked around the bar a bit looking for my buddy. He was nowhere to be found. I couldn\’t believe he would just ditch me and I decided to leave too. I walked outside and a couple of blocks towards my car and found him sitting on the sidewalk. He looked like he was in a daze. I asked him what happened and he said he was abducted by two space aliens with ray guns. They took him to their ship and did experiments on him. I laughed and told him to get in the car.

I drove my buddy home, swearing I would never pay attention to any Houston nightclub information involving aliens anymore. When we got to my buddy\’s house, after him pleading with me that it was true, he finally got out of the car. As he bent over to get up out of the car, I noticed a small incision mark on his back, like where a scalpel might have gone in. I raced home and locked the doors.
