Okay, I never thought I would have to have this conversation with anyone at any point in my life, but there is something that you need to know about hygiene. Everyone has been polite enough about it around you, but it is time it came to your attention and you did something about it. The next time that you go out for a weekend in Houston, it is of vital importance that you make sure you remember your deodorant.

Do we really have to tell people this in this day and age? Can you not smell that odor coming from you? I mean come on pal; geese are falling out of the sky as you walk passed where they are flying. It’s time to actually do something about this.

There are a few good reasons to wear deodorant you know. The first one is the most obvious one. You smell bad from sweating and we need you to smell better. None of your friends want to be around you anymore because of that funk coming off of your body. A couple of swipes of a deodorant stick will do wonders for you trust me.

If that isn’t enough to convince you, then consider your luck with the ladies. My friend, you have no luck with the ladies. Do you know why that is? Because you smell bad! No one wants to dance with you at the clubs or sit next to you at the bar because it is an ever-present turn off for them.

I know that you love to go dancing, but dancing only makes it worse you know. You dance, you sweat and you start to smell some more. Pretty soon you’re dancing with this big wide open space around you. It’s not because you are such a good dancer and everyone want to watch your moves on the dance floor. It’s because no one wants to get close to where you are.

Okay, we’ve talked about how it affects the people at the bars and clubs we go to, but how about those of us who have to sit in the car with you as we drive to these places? It’s bad enough when we first pick you up and it’s ripe but after sweating for a few hours and then sitting in a car with closed windows, I can only imagine that this is what death smells like.

I hope I didn’t offend you too much my friend. It is only because we love you that we had to have this intervention. We all chipped in and bought you a case of hypoallergenic, all natural, no chemicals used roll-on deodorant so you can’t even complain about putting chemicals in your body or poisoning the environment. Hopefully that is the end of this issue and we can go out for a weekend in Houston sometime soon. Now about those teeth…
