When talking to someone it finds attractive, your brain sends impulses to the heart making it pound faster than normal; this results in increased blood supply to the body, improved circulation and efficient working of all organs.
When we think of the people that we love or when we call to mind the people that love us , we automatically feel happy. This positive affect produces many beneficial psychological and physiological reactions, which could promote better overall health, thus helping us live longer.

Married Americans have higher overall wellbeing than those who are single, separated, or divorced according to new data from the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index. Married Americans have much better overall well-being scores (68.8 on a scale of 1-100) than those who are divorced (59.7) or separated (55.9). Well-being among single people is similar to that of married individuals (65), followed closely by widows and widowers (63.5) and those in domestic partnerships (63.3).
The study published in the American Journal Of Epidemiology shows that married people can live up to 17 years longer than those without partners. The study shows that single men have a 32 percent higher chance of death across their lifetimes than their married counter parts.
Married people have been found to have lower cancer rates than singles. A research conducted at the University of Iowa found that ovarian cancer patients who had a strong and satisfying relationship with their partners develop more white blood cells which are desirable in killing cancerous cells.
Moreover, a new study from the Duke University Medical Center says that not having a permanent partner, or spouse, during midlife is linked to a higher risk of premature death during those midlife years.
The researchers analyzed data for 4,802 individuals who took part in the University of North Carolina Alumni Heart Study (UNCAHS) – an ongoing study of individuals born in the 1940s. The authors were particularly interested in stability and change in patterns of marital and non-marital status during midlife, controlling for personality at college entry (average age 18), socioeconomic status and health risk behaviors.
Not only is being married protective against death in middle age, people who never marry are twice as likely to die early as those in a stable marriage, the researchers say.
Married partners typically provide additional emotional and functional social support, both of which are linked to longevity and length of telomeres, the researchers say. Low social support is associated with shorter leukocyte telomere length. This is consistent with the claims that social environment may contribute to the rate of cellular aging, particularly in late life.
Telomeres are a DNA sequence that appears at the end of each chromosome. As we age our telomeres shorten. Scientific studies have shown that people with long telomeres age healthier and live longer. The only way to lengthen telomeres is through the activation of an enzyme called telomerase. Currently the only way to activate telomerase is to take TA-65 supplement.
