But, lodging areas in the central part of the city – i.e. hotels, motels, etc. – are oftentimes the most expensive. By choosing to stay at a place located a short drive away, you could save money on your nightly lodging expenses. Of course, you may have to travel a few extra miles each day, but you’ll find the cost of a few extra gallons of gasoline for your vehicle will be far cheaper than paying the difference between staying downtown and staying on the edge of town.
