What are the particular formulations of perfumes available

The range of perfumes in this world can only be defines as incredible. However, when you narrow it down, there are only a few particular types of formulations available. Perfumes can come in its original straight fragrance essence, the Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette, and Eau de Cologne. The main comparison between them are merely the concentrations of essential oils that are filled into them when they are developed. The larger the concentrations of essentials oils, the longer the fragrance will maintain on the skin, hence less you have to apply. Perfume houses also develop tester formulations.

Perfume (Parfum): This is the heaviest formulation available in fragrances. It consists of fifteen to 30 percent concentration of its original essence. You only need to use a small amount on yourself to get a substantially long-lasting scent, and depending on your skin chemistry, can last up to 6 hours after you use after the original perfume itself. It is a little lighter and only has 8 to fifteen percent in concentration. Nonetheless, it persists quite long, around three to five hours. The good advantage is that this formulation comes with a lower price tag than the original.

Eau De Toilette (EDT): This formulation is one that we can get quite typically now in online stores as it is considered to be quite cheap for a lot of people. The EDT comes with four to 8 percent of the original essence in each bottle and lasts around 2 to 4 hours when compared to the other formulations.

Eau De Cologne (EDC): Sometimes referred to as just colognes, is the most diluted formulation in the perfume world. it has only 3 to five percent of the essence, colognes usually lasts for two hours only and can very quickly dissipate after that.

Make sure you keep your fragrance in a dry and cool place away from heat and sunlight. This is because extreme conditions can shock the delicate balance of the essential oils and may affect their scent.

If you like to use different fragrances at various seasons of the year, you can actually keep an unfinished bottle of fragrance in the refrigerator to prolong its shelf life so that it does not fade as quickly over time.
